It didn’t have a crazy smell and the instructions were easy to follow. The box comes with everything you need to achieve a flawless lift or touch up and I only used one box for my bra strap length hair. It shows you swatches of what level lift can be expected based on the color of your hair on the side of the box, which can be helpful for those of us DIYers and it boasts gray coverage, though I personally can’t speak to that. Overall 10/10 highly recommend.
